Respite

 

FOCUS
Offers Extra Special Saturday Respite (ESS), serving children ages 1-12; provides free play, music, and extra attention from FOCUS caregivers and volunteers.

InCommunity
Provides respite care and many other services for families of those with special needs.

Limitless Disability Services
Respite is offered on Saturdays and includes activities like arts and crafts and movie-watching along with lunch.

Special Needs Cobb
Operates Cobb’s only facilities-based weekend respite house dedicated to special needs children and adults.

YourRespite
Provides childcare in the home for special needs children up to age 19.

Special Needs Respite
Provides funding for respite care and resources for families of special needs children in metro Atlanta.

 

Day Programs

 

Blake’s House of Independence
Designed for adults 18+, the Anchors Day Program helps each individual to acquire skills for at- home daily living, work, and socialization.

Great Prospects
Therapeutic Day Program focusing on social skills training, peer support, exploration of workplace options, community service, health and fitness, therapeutic activities, and planning for an independent future.

InCommunity
Day programs providing opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to participate in meaningful activities within their communities.

Limitless Disability Services
Day program offering community outings, exercise, independence skill-building and arts & crafts.

Next Step Ministries
Day program offering therapeutic activities, social interaction, and community activities.
