On January 25, 2025, about 50 Barber Middle students bravely stepped out of their comfort zones to participate in the North Central Technology Competition. We are thrilled to announce that three of our students earned 1st place and will be advancing to the state competition on March 1. In addition, six students secured 2nd place, and nine students earned 3rd place. 

While not everyone walked away with an award, all participants gained valuable lessons. They learned the importance of keeping their word and following through on commitments, that they are capable of more than they often give themselves credit for, and that participating in competitions—win or lose—is a fun and rewarding experience that helps build a strong resume.

We are incredibly proud of all our students, including those former students who continue to return to the competition year after year, even as high schoolers. Your dedication and hard work are truly inspiring!
