Changes to Car Rider Drop-off and Pick-up!! Please Read!
Please review information about the changes. I am strongly recommending that you do not plan to walk your child to class on the first day. We have extra staff on hand to help children find their way. Thank you for understanding!
Morning Arrival (Drop-off)
Afternoon Dismissal (Pick-up)
Arrive early! Drop-off begins at 7:15 AM with staff on duty. The late bell rings at 7:50 AM so don’t be late!
Have your child(ren) prepare to exit the vehicle independently on the passenger side as you are working your way to the drop-off zone.
After the 2 lanes merge, you will pull all the way forward along the curb (drop-off zone). Student(s) should exit the vehicle anywhere on the curb. One lane is used for drop-off.
Staff are on hand to supervise and direct vehicles. Please be aware and be kind!
DO NOT drop students off anywhere in the parking lot or along the entrance ramp. This is dangerous. Drop-off is along the curb only!
DO NOT use Dowell’s exit lanes to enter the parking lot. Only buses are allowed to enter through the exit.
Please use patience and understanding during the drop-off process and while waiting in line. Be kind to drivers who need to merge.
Afternoon dismissal begins at 2:15 PM. You may line up along the curb beginning at 1:45 PM.
As you enter the property, be prepared with your Car Rider Tag clearly visible to staff. Keep it displayed until your student is brought to the car.
If you do not have a car tag, you will need to park in a designated parking space and come into the office. Bring your ID!
After the 2 lanes merge, you will pull all the way forward along the curb. One lane is used for pick-up.
Allow staff to walk or direct students to the vehicle. Please don’t call or honk to your student.
Help your student learn their car rider tag number. This will help speed up the process.
Please be patient with the other drivers and staff members on duty. You may be asked to pull aside and park while resolving any problems.
