Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a lottery-funded educational program for four-year-old children to prepare them for kindergarten. Starting February 1, Cobb County families can begin applying for 2024-2025 Georgia Pre-K classes at the South Cobb Early Learning Center. Applications from interested families must be submitted no later than March 15, 2024. 

Space is limited! 

Families who wish to qualify for the enrollment lottery must complete their Pre-K student’s registration no later than March 15. Registrations completed after that date will be added to the waitlist in the order they are received. Any child who is a resident of Cobb County and is four years of age on or before September 1, 2024, is considered eligible. The District will notify parents of acceptance or waitlist status by email the week of March 25, 2024.

The District currently offers Georgia Pre-K classes at the South Cobb Early Learning Center at 5891 Dodgen Road in Mableton. Although families must provide their own transportation to and from the school, an After-School Program is available on-site.
