STEM / STEAM Program

Teachers are provided intentional planning for standards based learning with interdisciplinary connections.
Students interact with STEM Career Speakers: meteorologist, astronaut, nurse, pilot, veterinarian, civil and mechanical engineers, etc.
Students participate with an innovative Earth Parent Program where parents deliver educational lessons with teacher support that connect grade level standards to sustainability and environmental education.
Students participate I Project Based Learning and Environmental Education opportunities which are aligned with grade level standards and relevant to the real world.
We partner with community organizations and businesses and believe that this relationship is foundational. Partners include: Ford Elementary School Foundation, Ford PTSA, Cobb EMC, C & S Paving, Signs and More, Northwest Family YMCA, Captain Planet, Brookstone Animal Hospital, and more!
