On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the November Session of Hendricks Parent University will be held from 7:30am - 8:00 am. The meeting will be at the school.
This month's topic is reading and math!
The development of reading and math skills is very important in elementary school. When parents are tuned into how these two important subjects progresses from Kindergarten through Fifth grade and beyond, students can be better supported to succeed.
Please join us for the November Session of Hendricks Parent University where the following topics will be addressed:
- What is phonics & why is it important? (You will be introduced to online resources for additional support at home)
- What is iReady, and how does it assess reading and math skills?
- How to choose appropriate books to support growth.
- Engaging ways to reinforce math skills through real-life applications.
- How to make math fun and relatable.
We will be very happy to meet and talk with our parents and give you what you need to know to support and guide our students toward being great readers!
