During the fall 2023 school year, the 4th and 5th-grade students were invited to draw for a coloring book contest in their art class. The Adventures with Tappy Turtle Coloring Book contest called for the artists to include the Cobb Water System mascot Tappy Turtle in their drawings to illustrate how to conserve water using fun water conservation tips. Laila Walton a fourth grade student was chosen as the winner out of the contest entries for Hendricks Elementary and will represent us in the coloring book.
