Keheley named Literacy Leader

Keheley has been named a Literacy Leader by the Georgia Department of Education!
Knowing the importance of early literacy and students’ ability to read proficiently by third grade, the Georgia Department of Education recently recognized schools with exceptional achievement or growth in third-grade reading as 2023-2024 Literacy Leaders.
From the 2022-2023 to 2023-2024 school year, Keheley had an 18.6% growth among third grade students and was award for outstanding growth.
Keheley was one of 10 elementary schools awarded for over 15% growth in reading. In Cobb, only 17 elementary schools received exceptional achievement or growth award.
