Thank You!

Thanks to Coach Newsome and parent volunteers, our students have a new gaga ball pit to enjoy! Our students truly love this game, and we are excited to provide this opportunity to build sportsmanship and encourage physical activity.

The proceeds from Sparkles Spirit Night funded this project, so thank you for attending Sparkles! All spirit nights such as McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Zaxby's, help fund a variety of projects at Vaughan. Stay tuned for plans for McDonald's McTeacher Night proceeds!

October STEM Challenge

✈️ October Family STEM Challenge ✈️
Get ready to dream, design, and TAKE FLIGHT!
This month, Mrs. Moulder is reading Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty! Watch the story together, then channel your inner engineer and get ready to design something that can soar!
Your Mission: Take Flight!
Using paper and/or recycled materials from around your home, design and build your very own flying machine. Then put it to the test! See how far it can fly or how long it can stay in the air. Can you make changes to your design to help it fly even better?
Projects Due: October 27
Bring your flying machine to school to receive CANDY and for a chance to have your creation featured in next month’s Family STEM Challenge recording!
Remember...
Engineers don’t give up when something doesn’t work the first time—they test, improve, and try again! There’s no “right” way to build your flying machine. We want to see YOUR creativity, imagination, and engineering ideas!
Ready…Set…TAKE FLIGHT!
