We heard from CCSD transportation, Vaughan PTSA, our amazing counselors, and took a tour of our new makerspace! We look forward to working with this team throughout the year! |

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have done their survey - now it's your turn! The survey results will provide the Cognia Accrediting Agency, Cobb County School District, and local schools with data regarding student learning environment, staff input, and parent feedback to support continuous learning. |
Our 1st and 3rd students will take the CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test; October 5–7); an assessment designed to measure students’ reasoning and problem-solving abilities in areas such as verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal reasoning. Thank you for helping us encourage SOARing behavior each day! 💡 The PBIS Family Letter was resent on Friday before Fall Break for those who have not downloaded the app. Please check your spam folder if you did not receive the letter. 🔎Book Fair Volunteers👀 Our fall book fair is coming up during conference week and we would love some parent volunteers to help set up and take down the fair, help students shop and assist with book check-out. October STEM Challenge✈️ October Family STEM Challenge ✈️ Get ready to dream, design, and TAKE FLIGHT! This month, Mrs. Moulder is reading Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty! Watch the story together, then channel your inner engineer and get ready to design something that can soar! Your Mission: Take Flight! Using paper and/or recycled materials from around your home, design and build your very own flying machine. Then put it to the test! See how far it can fly or how long it can stay in the air. Can you make changes to your design to help it fly even better? Projects Due: October 27 Bring your flying machine to school to receive CANDY and for a chance to have your creation featured in next month’s Family STEM Challenge recording! Remember... Engineers don’t give up when something doesn’t work the first time—they test, improve, and try again! There’s no “right” way to build your flying machine. We want to see YOUR creativity, imagination, and engineering ideas! Ready…Set…TAKE FLIGHT! |
