OFFICIAL HSE TEST INFORMATION


There are now multiple options in the State of Georgia for achieving your high school equivalency. Two computer-based pathways are available through testing centers or proctored at home: the GED® and HiSET® exam. If you are 16 or 17, you MUST complete the requirements set by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) in order to be eligible to take the tests. Please email adult_ed_counseling@cobbk12.org for additional information.


GED® EXAM


We provide GED® Testing at the Cobb County Adult Education Center (RM 115), 1595 Hawthorne Avenue, Smyrna GA 30080. Please visit myGED.com to create an account, for exact dates/times available, and to schedule/pay testing fees (Fees can only be paid using a credit/debit card or vouchers issued by supporting programs). Testing accommodations are available to those who qualify.


HiSET® EXAM


For those interested, HiSET® is available to take from home from 4 AM until 7 PM ET, 7 days per week. For specific information about scheduling a test at home visit HiSET.org to create an account and select at home testing. Testing accommodations are available to those who qualify.
