Congratulations to Piper Cathey for being named artist of the week! Piper has been doing theater from as early as third grade! She is an amazing student at Allatoona, and Mrs. Kemp has shared some wonderful and loving words about her! Mrs. Kemp says, “Besides being insanely talented, Piper is an amazing young woman with a heart of gold. Truly an inspiration to all those she comes in contact with.” Piper says her most recent play she was in was 9-5, and her favorite play that she did ever was Matilda where she got to play the main role! Piper says that chorus plays a big role in theater, where she can use her singing abilities in both areas! Her advice to younger students who want to pursue theater is to “never give up.” In theater, many will audition, but few will be called. Piper says to never let that weigh you down, because there is always a better path on the other side! Congratulations again to Piper for getting artist of the week!
