Smyrna Police Department Training - Protecting Our Youth Campbell PTSA is sharing this event on behalf of the Smyrna Police Department. CHS Course Extension/January 2025/Semester 1 Classes What: Course extension is designed for students who have earned a final grade of 60-69 in a class. After completion of extended assignments, students will earn a final grade of 70%. Eligible courses are math, science, social studies, and English. AP & IB classes are not eligible for course extension. When: January 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15 (3:45-5:15) Additional optional Saturday, January 11th (9am – noon) Attendance is MANDATORY until all work has been completed! ALL coursework and assessments are DUE by January 15th!!!!! Where: Campbell High School (Room location will be emailed to you) Students MUST register for course extension by Friday, Jan. 3rd by 5pm Students MUST include their phone number & email to receive program specifics. 2024-2025 Fall Semester Final Exam Procedures & Schedule - All Final Exams will be Face to Face

- Exams will not be given early
- Every class is required to take a Final Exam
- Courses with an EOC test will have an assessment (unit test, project, etc.) at the scheduled time on the final exam day.
Final Exam Schedule Tuesday, 12/17 – 3rd block A day & 4th block A day Wednesday, 12/18 – 1st block B day & 2nd block B day Thursday, 12/19 – Early Release, 1st block & 1st block A day and 2nd block & 2nd block A day Friday, 12/20 – Early Release, 3rd block & 3rd block B day and 4th block and 4th block B day Early Release Bell Schedule for 12/19 & 12/20: 8:20 - 9:51am (91 minutes) 9:58 - 11:30 am (92 minutes) Make-up Final Exam Protocol: - Students who miss a final exam must contact their teachers to inform them of their illness/absence and to confirm their attendance for the final exam makeup time within the first 10 days of Semester 2. Students will receive a zero until those exams are made up.

Students that missed the Final Exam Fall Semester FY25 - Teachers, upload your Final Exam to the folder 2.0 Final Exams in the Campbell High Staff Site in SharePoint.
- Upon return during Semester 2, the Student Success Center, will contact students who were placed on the Students that missed the Final Exam Fall Semester FY25 and facilitate the supervision of Final Exams the week of January 6, 2024.
- The Student Success Center will return the completed Final Exam to the teacher of record for grading, and the teacher will submit a grade change form to the Counseling Office to update the students’ transcripts.

IHAA-R Policy: Final Examinations: The Cobb Board of Education changed policy IHAA-R on final exams. As a result of this change, final exams shall count for 10% of a student’s final grade in non-EOC-high-school courses. Please ensure that the grade category weights and syllabi for your courses conform to the modified policy. Did you order a yearbook last year but forget to pick it up? The yearbook staff still has many fully paid, unclaimed 2023-24 yearbooks waiting for YOU to rescue them from their lonely shipping containers. Stop by room 904 before or after school or during 3rd block with a pass from your teacher to claim yours. Bringing your payment receipt is helpful, but your student ID will work just as well. Don’t delay—come pick up your yearbook soon! Come out and support our Band and Chorus students' Winter Concerts!
Parking Update The online application portal for Spring 2025 parking is currently open for uploads. No paper applications with be accepted. The application link will close when all Spring spaces available have been allocated. Application can be found on the Campbell website Parking page along with all eligibility requirements. Parking paperwork will be reviewed for completeness, and you will be contacted using the email you entered when you upload the documents. Please use an email you check often. You may only pick up a decal if you have received an email stating your application has been approved. Payments will be accepted via My Payments Plus starting Monday November 18th for Seniors and opens to all students on November 20th. The spots are sold on a first come, first served basis and once the cap is reached the parking activity will no longer be available. Decal Distribution will be in the cafeteria during all lunches on the dates listed below: SENIORS ONLY - December 16th and 17th All Students – December 18th
The CHS Comfort Closet offers free personal care items for students and families in need. There are two comfort stations on campus (located by the Counseling Department and by Ms. Fain’s office) where students may receive individual sized items as needed. Families are able to visit the Comfort Closet to receive full sized personal & household care items by scheduling with Ms. Fain. Thank you to all who have donated items during the September Comfort Closet drive promoted by PTA. We genuinely appreciate the support! IB News
Thank you to all of our families who encouraged students to apply to Campbell IB. We had almost 600 applications! Our team is excited to start reading.
IB Insights: The slide deck from our last meeting has been sent through Remind. With college admissions being released and final exams approaching, there are good strategies to support your student. Final exams begin 12/17 for A/B classes. Please see the final exam schedule and policies from Dr. Watkins above.
Attendance and tardies: please remind students that attendance is very important, including arriving to school on time. Students will receive ISS after their 12th unexcused tardy.
Juniors: We're halfway through junior advisement. Thank you to all students for coming prepared to advisement. If you haven't had advisement, check Remind for important documents to review prior to advisement.
Only students will be in person. Parents will have the option to join via phone or FaceTime. Each session is only 15 minutes, so please review the rising senior timeline prior to advisement.
Save the Dates:
Academic Advisement - we will send a link for students to sign up for advisement via Remind two weeks before their class's advisement begins. Students will receive a pass to report to the advisor for their appointment. We will also send course options through Remind. Advisement is ONLY in-person for students. Parents will join via FaceTime, Teams, or phone.
