IB News
The IB staff would like to thank the IB Booster Board and all of the IB families who baked cookies or donated to the IB holiday luncheon. The teachers truly felt loved!
Thank you to all of our families who encouraged students to apply to Campbell IB. We had almost 600 applications! Our team is excited to start reading.
Final exams begin 12/17 for A/B classes. Please see the final exam schedule and policies from Dr. Watkins above.
We know that this time of year is a first for many students: first final exams ever, or the first final exams as an IB student, and for our seniors, the first time navigating college acceptances, so stress is high.
For strategies to support your student, check out the slide deck that was sent via Remind from our last IB Insights meeting, where Maria Curtis provided strategies for navigating the stress levels that might be new to your student and you. Remind them it's all going to be okay. This is all a part of the high school process, especially with advanced coursework.
Schedules: Students will be able to see their schedules for second semester in January. However, please know schedules are subject to change as we balance classes. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate teacher or block requests. Thank you for understanding.
Save the Dates:
Academic Advisement - we will send a link for students to sign up for advisement via Remind two weeks before their class's advisement begins. Students will receive a pass to report to the advisor for their appointment. We will also send course options through Remind. Advisement is ONLY in-person for students. Parents will join via FaceTime, Teams, or phone.
Class of 2026, rising Seniors: 12/3-12/13 (sent before the break) Class of 2027, rising Juniors: 2/24-3/7 (note: 3/3 is a digital learning day, so all advisement appointments will be on Teams). Class of 2028, rising Sophomores: 2/3-2/14
IB Open House for Accepted Students: 2/2/2025
