Hello Spartan Families,

Elective Registration will begin soon during the week of February 10-14. The two previous Hybrid Parent meetings included detailed presentations by our counselors and scheduler. There is a link to those presentations in English and Spanish  along with the PowerPoint located in the Campbell News sections below along with the calendar of upcoming events.

We will be celebrating Black History Month with our MLK Community Awards Ceremony later in the month. It will be a school-wide assembly and is an annual tradition at Campbell.

We ask that families please complete our Climate Survey in the attachments below. There are only 22 questions, and it will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. We would like to get at least 30% of our families to complete the survey. All schools have to complete it.

The Student Behavior Contract Letter was shared with all parents/guardians at This is Sparta. All students received a copy on the first day of school and it was reviewed with students during the grade level assemblies. A copy of the letter is in the attachment below and will remain for the remainder of the school year. Please review the letter with your student.

Please note that there is a change this year to the Early Checkout TimeThe Early Checkout Time has been changed to 2:45 PM

Parents/Guardians, to support your student with having as much information as possible for Elective Registration and throughout the year, we have placed these informational signs outside of our Career Pathway teachers' doors and will be doing so for our Fine Arts and World Languages classrooms. There are QR codes which take the student to a detailed page about the class. Please see sample pictures above.

We also have the names of students who have completed the Fine Arts and Career Pathways for the past two years in the cafeteria. Additionally, there is a wall in the cafeteria with a summary of all of the Career Pathways and a QR code.  Please review the entire process with your student so that they can make the best selection for them and their future goals/plans beyond high school.

The Power Surge (weekend tutoring) is attached below. If your student needs assistance with any of the Core Classes- Language arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science, please review the flyer in the attachment below. Email Dr. Eaton if you have any questions- Lisa.Eaton@cobbk12.org
