Principal's Message
r
Good afternoon, Spartan Families,
Parents/Guardians,
We want to thank all of our families for coming out to support our Open House on last Thursday. We hope that you were able to visit with your student's teachers and gather information on how to better support their success throughout this school year.
We also want to thank everyone for supporting our safety protocols at Friday's football game. We had no safety concerns and full stands as we cheered our football team to victory over Kennesaw Mountain 24-15!
Students that paid their class dues by August 11th will be able to pick up their free t-shirt Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during lunch. Students may pick up their t-shirts during your assigned lunch.
Parents are reminded that students should not be dropped off before 7:30 AM unless it has been requested by a teacher or coach and they will remain with that adult. Students are also expected to leave the building no later than 4 PM unless they are under the supervision of a teacher or coach.
Best regards, Dr. Watkins

IB Senior Parents: Ask your seniors about our meeting last week! We met with all IB seniors last week to discuss IB Diploma requirements, requirements for registering for IB exams, senior year expectations, and the college application process with Mr. Jones.
Also, don't forget to refer to the Rising Senior Timeline we gave out last year in advisement. It has all the dates for the college application process at your fingertips!
All IB Diploma/Course students should have signed up for a one-on-one meeting with Mr. Jones. This is their only senior advisement meeting, so please encourage them to come prepared with their summer work where they researched college information.
