J. J. Daniell Middle School offers three academies for eighth grade students: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); Leadership, Law, and Public Service; and International Spanish Language. Acceptance into any of these academies not only allows middle level students the opportunity to explore more rigorous course options, but also is aimed at helping them be better prepared for acceptance into the academies at our award winning, feeder school, Sprayberry High School.
Applications for the 2025-2026 Daniell Advanced Learning Academies will go live on February 14, 2025 at the end of the school day and will close on March 14, 2025 at the end of the school day. Students are required to complete the application form and a video for their application to be complete. You must choose one academy to apply to and be prepared to complete the application and submit it once you have started. You cannot save it and come back to complete it later. Students may only submit one application to one academy.
