Allyson Greene, Student Services Administrator

With over two decades of experience in education, my primary focus is supporting students with diverse learning needs. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in special education from James Madison University, as well as a specialist degree in special education from the University of West Georgia, earned through Cobb County’s Georgia’s Best program.
My teaching journey began in 2003 at the Baltimore Lab School, an arts-based program for students with learning differences. In 2004, I joined Cobb County Schools, teaching special education and reading at Cooper Middle and Lindley 7/8 until 2011. I then spent 11 years teaching 8th-grade English at a local private school before returning to Cobb in 2022 as an IRR special education teacher at Dickerson Middle School.
In 2024, I stepped into my current role as a Support and Services Administrator. I am passionate about fostering student success and am deeply committed to East Side’s vision of “a school of excellence where all succeed.” I prioritize building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
As a proud East Cobb resident, I enjoy cheering on my two children in soccer and basketball alongside my husband, Mike.
