The Harrison High School PTSA welcomes everyone back for what is sure to be an amazing school year! We invite all students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members to support the Harrison community by purchasing a PTSA membership. PTSA provides many programs that impact each person on our campus, but these programs are only possible with the support of the community we serve.
By purchasing a membership you allow us to provide the following programs:
Reflections - A National Arts competition sponsored by PTA that has rounds at the school, local, state, and national levels.
Red Ribbon Week - A national program that promotes the importance of a healthy and drug free lifestyle.
Quest College Fair - Students are invited to come and learn more about what each college has to offer from representatives who are on hand to answer questions. This event is in collaboration with several other local high schools.
Senior Scholarships - each year we award three scholarships to graduating seniors.
Teacher Grants - each year teachers are invited to apply for mini grants for supplies that will help enrich the lessons they are providing in their classrooms.
Staff Appreciation Events- PTSA provides many events throughout the year to let the teachers and staff know how much our community supports and appreciates them, such as a back to school lunch, a fall tailgate, holiday treats, and a whole Staff Appreciation Week each May.
A small portion of your membership dues are sent to the Georgia State PTA to allow them to advocate on behalf of children and families at the state and national levels.
