About LaBelle
About LaBelle
Established in 1955 and opening its doors in 1956- LaBelle Elementary has a long tradition in the Cobb County School District as being a school who prides itself in putting our students and community in the forefront of all we do. As an Arts Integration School, we strive to engage our students through the lens of the arts in order to provide a learning environment that is rich, rigorous, and student-centered. In 2020 LaBelle was recognized by the Cobb County School District as one of only two schools who are “Arts Integration Certified Schools”. During the same year we were also recognized by the State of Georgia as an Arts Integration School of Excellence. Our Mission and Vision were updated collectively in 2019 to encompass our love for our community, pride in our student engagement through the arts, and commitment to excellence.

Cognia Review
Cobb families know the Cobb County School District has a reputation for excellence, as Cobb’s students consistently perform better than their peers. You could live anywhere, yet over 200,000 parents choose to raise their children in Cobb. You know that a Cobb education gives your children a competitive advantage for scholarships, college, future employment, and life.
Once again, Cobb families can feel even more confident their students are receiving a high-quality education following the most recent accreditation review by Cognia, one of Cobb’s accrediting agencies and one of the largest in the world.
After recently completing an Accreditation Engagement Review, which took almost one year to complete, every school in Cobb County has been accredited for an additional six years.
