Trojan Buddies, a club where all Lassiter students feel included and celebrates Trojan pride, raised donations to support The Center For Children & Young Adults (CCYA) and the Zone. They presented donations to the organizations before school on Thursday, December 5. 

CCYA provides safe and suitable housing, youth development activities and comprehensive supportive housing services for at risk homeless and foster care youth who have been abandoned, abused, neglected and/or sexually exploited. The Zone is an organization that helps fight drug and alcohol addiction and offers support for those wishing to stay clean and sober on their way to recovery. 

Thanks to the generous donation from Ed Voyles, Trojan Buddies was able to purchase sheets, snacks, toiletry items and gift cards to donate to these causes. Many local dentists also contributed toothbrushes for the organizations.
