Trojan artists place in top three of AHSAE competition - artwork to be displayed at Dogwood Festival

Congratulations to the Lassiter students whose art placed in the prestigious Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (AHSAE) competition. Their art will be displayed at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival April 11-13 and is also currently in display through April 6 at the High Museum AHSAE Mini Exhibition.  


Junior Chloe Cummings' clay piece, "Feminine Conformity" won 2nd place in Ceramics. An AHSAE post said her work "challenges perceptions and sparks conversation through its intricate craftsmanship and deep symbolism."

Senior Obi Cao's piece, "Ticklish", won 3rd place in the Drawing category. Per an AHSAE post, the art "captures a moment of pure joy and movement through masterful drawing techniques."

Senior Lily Mattocks' sculpture, "Keys to the Soul" won 3rd place in sculpture for its innovative design and deep symbolism. AHSAE called the sculpture "A hands-on masterpiece!"

Kyle Tran won 3rd place in Ceramics for his piece, "Preacher's Daughter".
