Please see below information concerning our school operations during Final Exams:

1. Students will be given comprehensive final assessments covering the curriculum of each course in which they are involved this semester. These examinations will be given according to the schedule on top of this letter. Cobb County Policy does not allow exams to be given early. During the days of final assessments, each student should make every effort to be fully prepared.

2. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:30 AM on Monday, May 22, Tuesday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 24 and buses will run these days at 11:35. The buses will not run at 3:30 on the last three days.

3. Students are expected to return designated textbooks by the end of the semester or make payment for lost or damaged books. Students who owe for textbooks or any other debts (uniforms, media center fines, etc.) should make arrangements to make payment before the end of the day on Thursday, May 11. Students who owe fines or other debts will be placed on the Hold List and will not be eligible to purchase a parking permit or receive additional textbooks for the fall semester. Textbook fines are paid in the Textbook Room or in Room 1105. Media Center fines are paid in the Media Center. Checks should be made payable to Lassiter High School.
