High School Overview

Students will participate in primarily independent learning activities (asynchronous) that align to Georgia Standards of Excellence.
Students will have opportunities for flexible whole group live lessons, small group discussions and individual learning experiences (synchronous).
Students will be taught by a certified Cobb County School District educator who has received training for teaching and supporting students in the virtual learning environment.

Asynchronous class prep/ breaks	Prepare yourself both academically and mentally for class Frequent breaks built in to promote movement, rest, and reflection before new or different content introduced or explored
Homeroom/Advisement & coaching office hours	Discuss academic progress and goal setting Share and discuss social and emotional needs Receive one-on-one support Participate in brief lessons that reteach/review information and content standards
