LMMS offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations in 2024-2025.

Academic Team

Interested and committed 7th & 8th grade students participate in team-oriented fun, challenging quiz-bowl team events stressing the academic areas of science, social studies, mathematics, literature, and current events. Participation includes various levels of the PAGE Academic Bowl competition, the Georgia Academic Team Association middle school tournament, and other appropriate tournaments. Sixth grade membership is on an invitation basis depending on available spots on the “B” (novice, JV, etc.) team. The “A” Team is primarily reserved for 8th grade members.

Art Ambassadors

Help assist with setting up, putting back, and inventorying art materials.  Club members will also assist in preparing for the yearly art shows. Additional duties may include cleaning and sorting. Members must attend at least one day per week to remain a member.

Black History Bowl

A  fun, competitive, and educational event for middle school students. Teams have an opportunity to compete in 3 rounds of competition that begin in January and end with the Championship series in February. Teams compete by answering a variety of black-history related questions.

Boys Choir

Drama Club




This program is for students who are interested in the Performing Arts.  We produce 2 shows per year and encourage students who are interested in singing, dancing, and tech to join us.  Rehearsals are after school and will be 6-8 weeks before the first production in November and the 2nd production in April. Auditions will be announced and students may participate in one or both plays.

Dungeons and Dragons Club




A student-led group designed to allow students to expand their creativity and storytelling skills in a fun, interactive way via the role-playing game of  Dungeons & Dragons. Open to all grade-levels.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
