6th & 7th Graders-
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? The McClure’s National Junior Honor Society will be accepting applications for our chapter. There are academic and behavior requirements that must be met to be considered for acceptance. Only rising 7th and 8th grade students may apply. Please see the application for more details. The application link can be found on the McClure homepage, and applications will be accepted online only. The application window will be open Monday, March 21st through April 1st. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Requirements for membership:
- Currently enrolled for a minimum of 18 weeks as a 6th or 7th grade student at McClure Middle School
- Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 or above in ACADEMIC CLASSES ONLY, calculated in the SPRING (following the 3rd Nine Week Report Cards) for school year 2021-2022
- Zero days of OSS (Out of School Suspension) assigned for school year 2021-2022
- No more than ne day of ISS (In School Suspension) assigned for the school year 2021-2022
- TWO Teacher Recommendations scoring a MINIMUM of 20 of the 24 points possible on BOTH recommendations (Students will choose 2 teachers for the recommendations as part of the application process. (Teacher recommendations are private and will not be shared.)
