To parents/guardians of students currently enrolled in an EOC course (Algebra 1, Biology, US History, American Literature),

Below is the testing schedule for McEachern High School.  We wanted to clarify some things and get you the information as soon as possible so that you can plan accordingly.  

In the past, the EOC impact on grades has been minimal because of the pandemic.  Last year, the state board of education voted that the EOCs would count almost nothing.  However, this year the EOCs will count for 20% of your student’s grade.  It is important that students show up where they are supposed to on the days they are scheduled to take their EOC.

• Only students currently taking American Literature will test on the ELA days.
• Only students currently taking US History will test on the SS days.
• Only students currently taking Biology will test on the Sci days.
• Only students currently taking Algebra 1 will test on the Math days.

More details will come about specific times and locations of your student’s testing date as we get close to the end of November.  

A few more details:

• All testing will take place at McEachern in a face-to-face environment.  We will continue to socially distance and separate students as much as possible.  
• Makeup testing dates will include 12/10 and 12/13.
