Summer Reading Challenge

Relax, play, and have fun this summer. Keep reading, too!

By reading 20+ minutes a day, students avoid the "summer academic slide" and maintain or advance academic gains.

To support summer reading and learning, The Cobb County School District's Library Media Education Department, in conjunction with the Cobb County Public Library and Smyrna Public Library challenge all students to read 20 minutes every day and set a goal to read at least 15 hours this summer!

Beanstack is our summer reading platform again this summer! It's like a "fitbit for reading" and is available online and as an app.

The Summer Reading Challenge will begin on May 13, 2024 and end on July 31, 2024.

Students can access their Beanstack school account here, or through Cobb Digital Library, or from the mobile Beanstack Tracker app.

Keep reading and have fun this summer!
