Meet and Greet / Curriculum Orientation  

Tuesday, July 30, 2024 

7:15-7:45    Second Grade curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents visit classrooms afterwards.  Students stay in their homerooms during presentations.) 9:30am – all visitors leave as the team has a meeting.

8:15-8:45    Third Grade & (3-5) Bridge (Hirschfield) curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents visit classrooms before or afterwards.  Students stay in their homerooms during presentations.) 10:00am – all visitors leave as the team has a meeting. 3-5 Bridge students go directly to the classrooms at 8:15am.

8:50 -9:10    Target Eligibility Meeting for intermediate grade levels (3rd-5th).  This is a Q & A session for parents of students that are not currently served in the Target program.  A separate meeting will be held at a later date for those who have already qualified.  

9:15-9:45     Fourth Grade curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents visit classrooms before or afterwards.  Students stay in their homerooms during presentations.) 11:00am - all visitors leave as the team has a meeting.

10:15-10:45  Fifth Grade curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents visit classrooms before presentation.  Students stay in their homerooms during presentations.) 11:00am – all visitors leave as the team has a meeting.

11:15-11:45   Kindergarten curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents drop students off in the classroom, go to presentation, and visit classrooms afterwards) 

12:15-12:45    First Grade & (K-2) Bridge (Medhurst) curriculum presentation in Cafeteria (Parents visit classrooms before or afterwards.  Students stay in their homerooms during presentations.) K-2 Bridge students go directly to the classrooms at 12:15pm.

1:00-1:20    Target Eligibility Meeting for primary grade levels (K – 2nd).  This is a Q & A session for parents of students that are not currently served in the Target program.  A separate meeting will be held at a later date for those who have already qualified.  

Mandatory Staff Meeting K-5 at 1:30pm

* After/before your grade level’s curriculum presentation, the parents will be visiting classrooms for Sneak-a-Peek. Announcements will be made to notify parents to head into the cafeteria at their curriculum time. 

* During your curriculum time, students will be staying in their new (24-25) homeroom classes.  Due to supervision, only students enrolled in that class will be allowed to stay, unfortunately siblings cannot stay. 

* Students should remain with parents when they are not in their homerooms.  All children must be supervised at all times.
