The purpose of the SSP is to select student goals connected to the Superintendent’s priorities in the following areas:

• Literacy

• Math

• School Selected- Determined by Local School

Instructions

Indicate which priority your goal is connected to and the actions, and evidence needed to meet the intended outcome. The reflection stage will be completed after measuring success with your intended outcome.

Goal #1: Literacy- By the end of the 2024-2025 school year the percentage of K-2 students scoring at the advanced and proficient level will increase from 50% as measured by the 2023-2024 end of year Reading Inventory to 55% as measured by the  2024-2025 end of year Beacon assessment.

Goal #2: Literacy- By the end of the 2024-2025 school year the percentage of 3-5 students scoring in the proficient range will increase from 60% to 63% as measured by the End of Grade ELA assessment.

Goal #3: Math- By the end of the 2024-2025 school year the percentage of K-2 students scoring at the advanced and proficient level will increase from 65% as measured by the 2023-2024 end of year Math Inventory to 68%% as measured by the  2024-2025 end of year Beacon assessment.

Goal #4: Math- By the end of the 2024-2025 school year the percentage of 3-5 students scoring in the proficient range will increase from to 65% (estimated baseline) to 67% as measured by the End of Grade Math assessment.

Goal #5: School Selected- During the 2024-2025 school year, K-5 teachers will meet vertically by subject area to align standards, identify gaps, share strategies, and develop common instructional language one time per month..

Nicholson Elementary utilizes Option 2 when determining AC eligibility criteria for 4th and 5th-grade students.
