Hello! My name is Kim Chendemi and I am so excited to be able to come back to where my teaching career began and now serve as one of the Assistant Principals. Pitner is truly a special place because of the students, staff members, parents, and administrators, and I am honored to be apart of this community once again!

I am a product of Cobb County Schools, attending Keheley, McCleskey and Kell High School. I began my teaching career in the Cobb County School District eleven years ago. I received my undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University, Masters Degree and Specialist Degree from Walden University, and lastly a degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia.

As an educational leader, I am driven by the belief that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. By setting high standards, children can be pushed to their boundaries and strive for excellence. The best way to achieve these high standards is by working together, and collaboration being a top priority for the school’s success. I believe that the best learning happens when students, teachers, and the community work together towards common goals. I also believe that building trust and relationships with students helps create a nurturing, engaging and inclusive environment for all. This is important to help foster academic excellence in a safe and secure environment.

I look forward to working with your family this year and being apart of their educational journey! Please feel free to reach out anytime! Kimberly.chendemi@cobbk12.org
