Dress Code
The first semester of the 2024-25 school year students are permitted to wear their uniform which consists of the following:
Uniform bottoms: Navy, black or khaki shorts, pants, skirts, jumpers or dresses. Socks, tights, and leggings should be solid black, navy, white or gray.
Uniform Shirts: SOLID colored polo-style shirts or button down, turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts. Sweatshirts, jackets, or blazers worn during the day in the school building must be SOLID colored and can bear the Sanders logo or not.
Or they are permitted to follow Cobb County’s student dress code along with a few school dress code expectations. The minimum standard dress code outlines that all students shall maintain the following minimum standard of dress:
1. Appropriate shoes shall be worn.
2. Pants or jeans need to be secured at the waist and not have any rips in them.
3. Midriffs shall be covered.
4. Appropriate under-garments shall be worn and may not be visible.
5. Strapless garments shall be worn with a jacket.
6. Tank-tops shall be worn with a jacket.
7. Shorts may be worn but must touch the top of the knee. Skirts are to follow the same length rule as shorts.
8. No caps, hats, bandanas nor hoods covering the head are to be worn in the school buildings during the school day unless there is a special activity during which they are deemed appropriate by the school administration. Administrators shall evaluate requests to wear coverings in accordance with sincerely held religious belief on a case-by-case basis.
9. Clothing or ornamentation that does any of the following is prohibited: a. Displays or advertises substances illegal for minors. b. Displays suggestive phrases, designs, markings, or profanities. c. Advocates, promotes, or suggests illegal activity.
10. Leggings may ONLY be worn under jumpers, dresses, shorts, or skirts. Leggings may not be worn as a stand-alone bottom.
