We are excited to invite our Grandparents (or Grandfriends!) to Grandparents’ Day at Shallowford Falls. Grandparents’ Day will be held during lunchtime. Grandparents can bring a lunch for themselves and their grandchildren, or they can all enjoy a school lunch. School lunch for visitors costs $4.25. Grandparents and their grandchildren can also shop at the Book Fair in the Library.  

We will have two days to celebrate. If grandchildren have a last name of A-M, grandparents should come on Wednesday, March 15. If grandchildren have a last name of N-Z, grandparents should come on Thursday, March 16. (Of course, if you have grandchildren with different last names, just choose one day to visit all of them.) 

Please check into the front office, and volunteers will direct you from there.

Wednesday’s menu is Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Teriyaki Chicken with Rice, Vegetarian Thai Chili Edamame with Rice Beef, and/or Chicken Taco Salad, Superb Vegetarian Taco Salad (V), Refreshing Veggie Dippers, and Seasoned Spiral Fries.  

Thursday’s menu is Cheese Pizza (V), Pepperoni Pizza, Beef Rotini Pasta with Garlic Texas Toast, Crispy Chicken Bites Salad, Vegetarian Chef Salad (V), Fresh Caesar Side Salad, and Savory Sweet Potato Fries.
