-Our 'Fall Into Reading' Beanstack challenge winners were announced over the news on Thursday. Way to go, readers! The next challenge is 'Hallow-Read.'
-We would love some regular volunteers in the library to assist with book shelving and student checkout. Please send Emily Zolan a message in CTLS if you are interested in volunteering.
-Students can log their reading minutes on Beanstack to reach the 300-minute goal and earn their next prize. The top 3 readers for the first quarter got to visit for a special reward - way to go, Stella, Gowan and Kensley!

Cognia Surveys Available Sept 10 to Oct 17
The Cognia Student, Parent, and Staff Surveys are designed to collect data on student academic learning and wellness during the current school year. Participation in each survey is anonymous and voluntary, and participation is highly encouraged. The survey results will provide the Cognia Accrediting Agency, Cobb County School District, and local schools with data regarding student learning environment, staff input, and parent feedback to support continuous learning. Calling All Trunk-or-Treat Volunteers!
We’re gearing up for the Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 24th, and need 15–20 volunteers to decorate their trunks and hand out candy!

From 6-7pm during Monster Mash on 10/24
What to Do:
Decorate your trunk and bring your Halloween spirit!
Candy:
Each participant provides the first large bag of candy andPTSA will supply the rest
This is such a fun way to get involved and make the night magical for our kids!

This month’s Strong4Life healthy habit encourages students to fuel their bodies and brains with balanced meals and water. Nutritious foods and plenty of water help kids stay energized, focused, and ready to learn and play all day long. Let’s make every bite and sip count!
