Vision: Our vision is to empower students to become ethical users, critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful researchers.

Mission: The Compton Learning Commons will be a center of information and discovery at our school, where students and staff can visit to pursue their goals and passions. We will provide relevant resources for research and pleasure reading, as well as innovative programming and tools to ensure our students are all future ready. Our goal is to foster a love of reading and technology in a welcoming, safe environment conducive for exploration, collaboration, and creativity. 

The Library Learning Commons is a busy place. We are open for students all day long. If you stop in, you may see students checking out books independently, a class accessing digital resources for a project, students creating in the Maker Space, and a teacher working with a small group - often at the same time.

We also have digital resources available to our students 24/7. The Cobb Digital Library is a collection of digital resources that students and teachers can access through the CCSD learning platform, CTLS.
