I am very excited to start my tenth year in administration and first year at East Side Elementary School.  My goal is to make all students feel welcome in our school and help them reach their full potential.  I have previously held the position of assistant principal at Hayes Elementary School and Norton Park Elementary School.  Prior to being an administrator, I taught at Rocky Mount Elementary School and Terraset Elementary School in Fairfax County, Virginia.  While teaching, I also coached boys' soccer at Lassiter High School.  I am currently working on my doctorate degree from the University of West Georgia in School Improvement and will graduate in December of this year.  I hope to use the knowledge I gain from this experience to make me a more impactful leader for all staff and students.  As a teacher and administrator, I always strived to make school a place where students feel safe and can embrace their individuality.  I look forward to a great 2025-26 school year and welcome your support!
