Beanstack is a tool we use to track minutes read. Students can access Beanstack through Cobb Digital Library, Clever, free apps (Android & Apple) or through this direct link: https://cobbgarrisonmill.beanstack.org/
Students login with their student id number (7 digits) and the password is their 4 digit birthday (MMDD).
We do a weekly update on the Friday news show of which classroom has the most minutes logged and have a monthly winner. The teacher and the students receive a reward.
The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
