“I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Griffin Middle School community! Recently, we hosted our very first community health fair, and I’m thrilled to share that it was a resounding success with approximately 300 participants and volunteers joining us,” said Dr. Adam Mullis, Griffin’s Physical Education and Health teacher.

Taste buds danced as students explored a food paradise of tasty, nutritious bites. Students looked to the future as they checked out dream job opportunities in the career corner and challenged themselves by tackling the adrenaline-pumping obstacle course.

Health vendors provided guests with an array of future health and wellness options. The Health-a-Palooza served up a world of games and challenges catering to the whole family.

Griffin’s health fair was described as the place to be for a healthy dose of food, fitness, fun, and future planning.

“This event truly highlighted the importance of teamwork in ensuring our students’ success. I’m immensely grateful for our community’s understanding and support, recognizing that health is an integral component of their achievements,” Dr. Mullis said. “Together, we’re making a positive difference in the lives of our students, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the collaborative spirit we share.”
