Classof2028 interacting with upperclassman

Today was an unforgettable day as we hosted the 9th-grade orientation, welcoming over 300 enthusiastic and eager upcoming freshmen to the Kell High School family. Our campus was buzzing with excitement as students participated in various engaging activities designed to make their transition to high school smooth and enjoyable.

The day started with a warm welcome from our staff, followed by a series of fun games and team-building activities. These activities helped students break the ice and fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among their peers. Seeing everyone working together, forming new friendships, and showing great school spirit was wonderful.

Students then embarked on comprehensive campus tours guided by our dedicated upperclassmen. They explored their new learning environment, from classrooms to the cafeteria, the gym to the library. These tours were a great way for our freshmen to get acquainted with the school layout and feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

As the day ended, everyone gathered for a pizza party. It was the perfect opportunity for students to relax and share their excitement about the upcoming school year. The event concluded with a group picture of our new 9th graders as they embark on this exciting journey at Kell High School.

We are thrilled to have such an amazing group of students joining us and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things they will achieve over the next four years.

Welcome, Class of 2028 – the future looks bright with you at Kell High School!

Huge shoutout to our Kell cheerleaders, HERD members, girls/boys basketball players, football team, volleyball players, and orchestra for helping make this day a success!
