After School Program (ASP)
Welcome to the Lewis Elementary After School Program!
The After School Program (ASP) provides a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the care of elementary students in the Cobb County School District who attend Face-to-Face instruction from after school until 6:00 PM each day school is in session, including early release days. The program does not operate on Student Holidays or District holidays. ASP will be closed upon the District’s announcement of inclement weather. ASP is a self-supporting program and receives no support from taxpayer funds.
ASP Highlights:
- $20 annual non-refundable registration fee
- $10 per day, per child, attendance billed weekly
- Register, pay, and manage accounts on any device
- Access invoices, receipts, and annual tax statements online
- Convenient, secure online payments are available
The Cobb County School District partners with Eleyo a user-friendly platform for online registration, account management, and payments. Online payments (credit card or ACH/electronic check) incur a 4.75% processing fee. Cash or check payments can be made at the school directly, with no processing fee. Please contact your school’s ASP Director for details.

All students must be enrolled in Eleyo before attending ASP.
The Enrolling Adult, as defined by Cobb County School District policy (the parent/guardian with whom the student resides and who enrolled the student in school), must create an Eleyo account and submit a separate contract for each student.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
2:15 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on all days in which school is in session.
The program does not operate on teacher workdays or holidays. During conference week and early release days, the hours are extended from 12:15 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. No additional fees are required. ASP will be closed upon the district's announcement of inclement weather.
STUDENT PICK-UP AND LATE PICK UP:
Parents must give prior written permission for their children to stay in ASP.
Proper identification is required from any person picking up a student and must be on the students pick-up list.
Changes to the students pick-up list must be completed online by the enrolling adult.
Anyone arriving after 6:00 p.m. will be late and charged a late pickup fee of $1.00 per minute for each child being picked up. This is a Cobb County School District policy. Excessive late pickups may result in your child being removed from the After School Program.
DELINQUENT PAYMENTS:
ASP is a “pre-pay” program. All students must have a credit on their account prior to them staying in ASP. An account becomes delinquent any time payment is not received in advance of a child staying in ASP. If the balances are not kept current, or repeatedly becomes delinquent your child will be suspended from ASP until payment is received.
BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS:
The After-School Program is a privilege. We strive to provide a safe environment and expect appropriate behavior from all our students. Unacceptable behavior will be handled on a case by case basis. However, if a student engages in behaviors that violate school rules and policies the student may be suspended or withdrawn from the program.
