Media Center/Library Learning Commons
Welcome to the Lewis Library Learning Commons!
The Lewis Learning Commons is open from 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. Classes visit the learning commons on a flexible schedule to receive media, research, & literary instruction. Individual students are welcomed to the learning commons with a library pass at any time. We are also proud to share that our new makerspace area is now open!
The makerspace is an ever evolving space that can be visited by individual students and small groups to explore technology and engage in curriculum enriching projects and activities throughout the school day.
The media staff includes Mr. Cole Sproat and Ms. Cami Lemr. We are ready and willing to help all learning commons visitors with research questions, online database searches, or finding that perfect leisure reading book.

Through the PASS program, students simply need to know their student ID number (often referred to as their lunch number) & their birth date (2-digit month; 2 digit day) to checkout books and online resources.
- Checkout up to 5 books at a time (or 1 audio resource & 4 books) from any Cobb Public Library branch
- Gain access to thousands of eresources. We recommend the “Overdrive” App for this purpose
- Access two hours of computer time a day at Cobb County Public Libraries
- With PASS there are no late fees (but there is still a fine for lost books or those 45 days late)
