Message from Dr. Cain

Greetings Mableton Community,

I am Dr. Pamela Cain, the principal of Mableton Elementary School. It is an honor to lead such an exceptional school, rich with opportunities for students, staff, parents, and the broader community. We are proud to be a Cobb County STEAM Certified School, where our students engage in standards-based learning through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math every day. Our commitment extends beyond academics, as we also prioritize the overall well-being of our students, nurturing them as better, stronger readers, writers, and problem-solvers.

With 29 years of experience in education, all within the Cobb County School System, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my role. I began my career teaching at the elementary level for ten years before serving as an Area Lead Teacher for two years. My journey continued as an Assistant Administrator at both middle and elementary schools and later as an elementary Assistant Principal.

My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. I also hold an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership from the University of West Georgia and an Educational Doctorate from Capella University.

As the principal, I am committed to being a strong, positive instructional leader who ensures rigorous and relevant instruction. My goal is for all students to achieve academic growth. I believe in making a positive difference in the lives of others through leadership characterized by kindness, mutual respect, and a passion for education. The saying "it takes a village to raise a child" resonates deeply with me, as I believe we all play crucial roles in the lives of our children.
