Course Requests for the 2026-2027 school year are now available in ParentVue and StudentVue.  It is recommended to use the web version of ParentVue/StudentVue to view this information to ensure the best results with the system.

Teachers have made their recommendations for core academic classes which are listed under "Course Requests."  Elective choices are listed in priority order under "Alternate Course Requests."

ALL 9th-11th grade students are encouraged to review their Course Requests and complete the form linked in the Useful Links section below.

The Add/Drop window is now open and this will be the ONLY opportunity to make changes to course requests for the 2026-2027 school year!  The deadline for Add/Drop is April 17, 2026!

Remember, the courses visible in ParentVue/StudentVue is NOT the schedule but rather a compilation of teacher recommended core courses and student selected elective courses.  Official student schedules will be available in July 2026.

Students are asked to verify that they have four (4) core courses (Math, Science, Social Studies, and English) along with four (4) electives.

Waiving Up or Down Into an Academic Course
After reviewing student grades, test scores, and previous classroom performance, teachers make every effort to place students in classes where the student will be significantly challenged.  it is not the philosophy of Sprayberry High School to place students in classes that the school believes will be discouraging or overwhelming to students.  if a parent/student request a change in the course a teacher has recommended, please understand the following:

• You may waive into a maximum of two (2) courses and may only waive up or down one level
• If space is available and the change is made, you cannot ask to be moved back into the original course or a different course
• If waiving up a level, this course will place more stringent demands on the student.
• If waiting up a level, this course will require the student to meet a higher standard of academic performance.

The 2026-2027 Course Request Verification Form can be found in the Useful Links section below!  The deadline is April 17, 2025!
