RISING FRESHMAN ELECTIVE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
As a rising freshman, you are given the responsibility of choosing the electives that you will take in high school. Electives are those courses taken in addition to your core courses: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English. Your core teachers will have a conversation with you to discuss your placement in core classes for your freshman year at Sprayberry. YOU get to choose your elective courses!
YOU WILL NEED TO PICK AND RANK SIX ELECTIVES THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING DURING THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR.
You will be scheduled in your electives in the order that you ranked them if they are available. If your first choice is full, then you will be given your second choice. If your second choice is full, then you will be given your third choice. This will continue until you obtain a full schedule.
Read over the course descriptions below and choose electives that interest you. Please realize that if you do not choose enough electives or if your elective choices are full, then your electives may be chosen randomly by the computer. We will do everything that we can to ensure that you receive top choices.
Once you have made your choices, rank them in order from 1 (your top choice) to 6 (your least favorite choice). Write their rankings in the "Rank" column on the last page. You will enter these choices in teh Elective Registration Google form found in the Useful Links section below.
