How do I create a MobileServe account?

Please click here for step by step directions on creating an account and remember to use a personal email address.

  1. Open the app or go to Mobileserve.com & select Sign Up.
  2. Enter your name, birthday, and create a password. You can skip the employer/School box. Select Next.
  3. Add an optional photo to your profile or skip. Select Next.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code and Select “Join”.

Students (not parents) must create an account on MobileServe.


How do I track my service hours?

For directions if using a mobile device, watch this video.

If using a computer, navigate here click "log in" and "Start Serving" browser.


What do I do if my hours are not getting approved in MobileServe?

  1. Verify the supervisor’s email is correct.
  2. Ensure the supervisor's email has not directed MobileServe messages to SPAM or JUNK folders by sending a follow-up email.
  3. Make the supervisor aware that they should search folders for an email from MobileServe not from the student.
  4. If student cannot get the hours verified after a second request, please email Rebecca.England@cobbk12.org for help.

 Note: It's your responsibility to follow up and ensure their hours are verified.


Can I enter all my hours for an organization as a single entry?

  • There is a maximum of 24 hours per entry if using the mobile app.
  • There is no limitation on the number of hours per entry if using a computer.

Note: Entries exceeding 16 hours need a date range for approval.


How do supervisors verify my hours?

Supervisors will:

  1. Receive an email from MobileServe. If it is not in their inbox, it should be in their SPAM or    JUNK folders.
  2. Open the email.
  3. Locate the review button.
  4. Click on the review button to approve or reject the hours on the subsequent screen.

 

How do I check the status of my hours?

Verification and Approval:

  • Verification: By your supervisor.
  • Approval: By an administrator.

To view the approval status:

  1. Go to the Activity Page
  2. Check the status indicators:
    • Green checkmark: Approved
    • Red X: Rejected
    • No icon: No action taken

 To view the verification status:

  1. Click on a specific log entry in the Activity Page
  2. Check the verification icons:  
    • Black Envelope Icon: Verified  
    • Red Envelope: Rejected
    • Orange Envelope: Not delivered - Verify supervisor’s email
    • No Icon: Pending


How do I reset my password?

Forgot Your Password:

  1. From the login page, select "Forgot your password?"
  2. Enter the email address used to create your account to receive reset instructions.
  3. If you do not receive an email, contact MobileServe via chat or email for manual reset assistance.

Change Your Password:

  1. Log in and go to Settings.
  2. Select "Change Password."

 

How can I edit hours I've already entered?

Editing Hours:

  1. Go to your Activity log and click the pencil icon next to the log you wish to edit.
  2. Update the information and click "Update Log."

Editing Limitations:

  1. Editing the description does not resend the verification email.
  2. Changes to duration, date, or supervisor email address will trigger a resend.

Suggestion: Change the date to resend the verification email.


What if I forgot to link my account to Walton using "My Class Code"?

Codes:

Class 2025 - AA2682 

Class 2026 - 058084 

Class 2027 - B3CA2B 

Class 2028 - 8E8E22 

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Click on the "Organizations" tab
  3. Enter Walton and your class code
  4. Input your student ID

Note: Hours logged before linking to Walton will not transfer. Re-enter those hours and have them re-verified.


Why aren't all the hours I entered showing?

Review the date below the total on the home screen, which shows the start of the school service year. Click on the date to toggle between total hours for the current year and all-time. You can also view logs by going to the Activity tab.


Who do I contact with questions about my MobileServe account?

Email MobileServe or use their chat messenger by logging into your account.


What is the approval process for service hours?

  1. Verification: Once your service hours are verified, they become eligible for review and approval.
  2. Review Order:Service hours are reviewed in batches based on your class year:
    • Seniors
    • Juniors
    • Sophomores
    • Freshmen
  3. Review Timing:
    • Service hours verified during the semester will be reviewed for approval in the same semester.
    • Service hours verified during the summer will be reviewed in the fall semester.
  4. Processing Time: Due to the high volume of college application activity in the fall and early spring, please allow several weeks for your service hours to be reviewed and approved.

 

What if my hours are rejected?

Service hours are reviewed and approved only for the volunteer service recognition program (graduation service cord). If your hours are rejected due to unmet criteria (e.g., submission deadlines, non-qualifying community service), you can and should still self-report these hours on your college applications. Note that Walton does not send service transcripts to colleges. When a MobileServe submission is rejected, an explanatory note is always included.
