This unique elective course aims to build college readiness and prepare students for college success. AVID instruction emphasizes writing, inquiry, collaboration, and reading and is directed toward developing students’ higher-level thinking skills. AVID challenges students to take the next step in academic rigor by enrolling in honors and Advanced Placement courses.
