Congrats to the Lassiter-Pope-Kell NJROTC Orienteering Team (O-team) for placing 5th in last Saturday's competition. Lassiter students Cadet Pinto and Cadet Lyon also placed 4th in their categories. Orienteering is a timed event through the woods, in which students use only maps and compasses to navigate through a series of control points in unfamiliar terrain. It requires stamina, map reading, speed, agility, and quick decision making skills.
