Six Lassiter DECA students qualify for ICDC

Lassiter High School’s DECA chapter had a successful showing at the Georgia State Career Development Conference, held February 26–28. A total of 48 Lassiter students competed against top students from across the state, showcasing their business knowledge, leadership skills, and career readiness.
Among the competitors, 26 Lassiter students earned Top 20 finishes in their respective events, demonstrating the program’s continued excellence and dedication to preparation and professionalism. Six students achieved an especially impressive milestone by earning automatic qualification for the prestigious International Career Development Conference (ICDC), which will take place in late April.
The strong showing highlights the hard work and commitment of Lassiter’s DECA members as they continue to represent the school at the highest levels of competition. Congratulations to all students who competed and best of luck to those advancing to the international stage.
