Bringing Community to the O!

Getting involved with the community is something that is very important to Osborne High School. This month, Osborne had the opportunity to host the South Cobb Business Association for their "Coffee and Connections" networking event.
Osborne High School is an active member of both the South Cobb Business Association (SCBA) and the Smyrna Business Association (SBA). Each month, building leaders join local businesses, faith based organizations, local political leaders, and district leaders for their monthly meeting. At these meetings, our administrators have an opportunity to tell OUR story of what we love about our school.
At one of the SCBA meetings, Principal Jones was approached by President Kerrick Butler about hosting an event. It was an easy "yes" for Principal Jones.
One of the reasons he knew this would be a great opportunity to share our beautiful building with the SCBA was the leadership of Chef Deller Nesmith! When it comes to hosting guests, there is no comparison the the excellence Chef demands of her students. Chef Nesmith prepared a meal of fresh red velvet waffles, cinnamon apples, chicken wings, desserts, and coffee!
As a result of hosting the event, we had a chance to share our passion of "The O!"
We look forward to continuing to welcome guests at Osborne and discovering new partnerships with those we serve!
