At Osborne High School, we are proud to highlight the outstanding work being done by our students through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. For over 22 years, our dedicated students have been assisting members of the Cobb County community with free tax preparation through a convenient “drive-thru” service.

This initiative not only provides valuable support to residents who may struggle to afford professional tax services, but it also offers our accounting students real-world experience in tax preparation. Through this hands-on learning opportunity, our students gain essential skills that help prepare them for future careers in accounting and finance.

To date, our students have completed over 4,000 tax returns, demonstrating the incredible impact of this program. We are proud of the commitment and professionalism shown by our students, and we look forward to continuing this important community service for years to come.
